This is my first fixie, built out of an old $15 raleigh. I switched it over as a summer project and it’s been a lot of fun. The cranks have been replaced since the chainrings on the old ones were riveted together. I’m now running just the large ring, a 52.

Did you paint your wheels? If so, with what type of spray paint. I might do this to mine.

Awesome. Dig the orange 27′s and understated avocet(?) saddle.

Still like the colors, nice. That chainring is it a Campagnolo as on Luftmensh’s Raleigh SGP ? it looks the same. Did you have to replace the bottom bracket? if so with what 26 TPI or how did you do it?

That definitely looks the same. I just greased and repacked the original bb.

overall, I like the bike. However, when people paint their own wheels and pedals…it looks like they painted their own wheels and pedals. It doesn’t look good (kinda like that time you gave yourself a haircut)
