Hey thanks for comments guys. I’m going to build two prototype frames, one using chromoly and the other aluminum and see how it goes from there. Cheers!.

I am not really sure what you gain (past a novel idea) by misaligning the two triangles. You’ve weakened two spots (the bottom bracket and the juncture below the seat post. I guess you wheels have the potential to be closer together by changing the angle of the down tube but i doubt that’s even in your plans. Would really really love to hear the logic behind it all.

If your gona use steel I think if you weld the chainstays wide apart on the BB houseing and do a solid brige on the chain stays I think it would be strong enuff(thinking about reverse E-stay)hay but Im not a frame builder but if I were to have a go that would be what I would do
