Schönes Rad. Modern und doch ohne Sloping-Geo. Was ist denn da so verbaut worden?

“My legs are my gears.” Wow, how cutting edge.
June 16th, 2011 @9:08 pm
Yea..I’d lose that “gears” sticker. My legs are connected to my hip bone..

@As Wicked: Thanks… most parts are prototypes. More infos soon on our website.
@scrodzilla & ng: The sticker was just for the prototype. We are always open for any new ideas… So let us know!

Your windshield is my brake

This submission is nothing but an ad from a company which apparently hasn’t even started manufacturing these bikes yet! Why is it on this site where people mostly show their own self-customized bikes?

Pretty sick looking bike. I’d honestly lose the sticker
Other then that, AWESOME.

@George: pedal/straps are prototypes by 8bar
@ddave: we added it to this site to see the reaction about our first prototype and get some comments to make our product better. We try to involve the customer as much as possible into the developing of our products.

Yes, this site mostly consists of personal bikes but I (for one) enjoy it when companies post their test products here. Too bad you can’t see the welds or get a good look at the geometry in these fashion-statement pictures –intended to drive people to their website. Looks like a typical aluminum frame but who knows? Meine Beine sind meine Gänge. Mein Gehirn ist mein Computer. Meine Penis ist mein Dildo.

thanks guys for your help…
improvement one: no sticker on the downtube!
anything else?!?
@jgnyc: the reason for not having detailed pics yet is because there will be some modifications to the final bike. Also the geometry will change a bit. PS: Good German! Even if I disagree with your third statement…

I think a sticker like “Become the Engine” Would look cooler. Love the bike.. like, I love it.
June 19th, 2011 @4:21 am
Improvement two: modern saddle. The turbo style doesn’t suit the modern look of the bike too well and is probably quite heavy compared to the whole build. Just my opinion.
June 19th, 2011 @7:02 am
@Nick O: Good one. We think we don’t do any stickers for the final bike. Only if a customer want to have it…
@As Wicked: Some people prefer the old style. But you can choose from two different styles.
This is saddle option no.2:

Stefan, good call…let people put their own stickers on if they want. A lot of people prefer no labels…or at least subtle labels. I think large graphics and labels distract from the lines of a beautiful frame. The 8bar logo on this bike is a good example of subtle and placed in an uncommon spot that’s not too distracting. Also a cool head badge is never a bad thing. Oh and labels under the clear coat are the worst. And last thing…It’d be cool to give people a few stickers to put on if they want….and if not they might end up on something else…street signs, bumpers or on the forehead of “that guy”, passed out at the party…free advertising.

love the clean lines and overall simplicity. Color scheme is spot on.
