This is the 4th time I have tried to submit this bike so appologies in advance if it appears 3 more times.
It’s a Peugeot .I think it’s from around the mid Eighties ?It was very tatty when i got it , the frame was mainly white but had Red , Yellow and Blue on it.I strpped it back to bare metal then sprayed it myself .It’s far from a professional job but I am pleased with the way it has turned out. This is the First bike I have ever built and would appreciate any constructive feedback. Thanks Andy.

should have left original paint. Nice first build, needs retention. use a paint pen to camouflage machining.

probably original paint was beyond saving. Looks to be a good save.

Prefer original paint no matter the condition. Change the color of the seatpost and fork.

Thanks for the comments Guys. The original paint was really bad thats why I stripped away.I kind of like the white forks but do agree about the seat post.

if orig paint was that bad, I don’t mind a repaint…except you picked an extremely unappealing color. White forks aren’t great either (maybe if you woulda left the top/crown of them the dark color, they might look better). Really hate the white painted seatpost. imo, you should repaint this bike again, taking a clue from the orig paint colors…then, this will be a really nice bike

I think original paint looks great no matter the condition. Contrast it with a shiny seat post and stem.
