I found this in stock form in an Ace Hardware store of all places and got a smokin deal since it hadnt sold. Decided it was a good start for a project and this is my upgraded vision of a pursuit bike. I haven’t had a chance to ride it yet, I still need to adjust the seat.
All of the listed items are the upgrades.
bars: profile design
brakes: SRAM force
Stem: Velo Orange touring
Levers: SRAM TT500
Seat: Brooks Swallow
Cables and housing: Jagwire teflon/velo orange stainless steel mesh
Chain tensioner: Spot Rockets
Chain: KMC 710 track, silver/black

I like the frame and wheel combo.. Personally I would ditch the brakes and bag..

I agree with K-dregg. Get ride of those gnarly looking breaks and bag.

Yeah, I knew I’d catch heat for that! As far as the brakes go, I live in rural area and my friends and I usually do long day rides so I gotta stop! Like I said, havent even ridden it yet, but I will level it all out for sure. The frame and wheels is what attracted me to it in the first place. It had a short flat bar with some toddler looking grips which I immediately trashed! LOL! Love the site!

wow, thats shiny and a lot of labels…I’d feel self conscious riding that

Ive been thinkin about getting rid of the wheel labels. cant really do anything about the frame labels since they have clearcoat over them. This is why I listed it so you guys could get me straightened out! I’m failry extroverted so I dont feel self conscious about anything! LOL. The frame labels are actually well executed when seen up close. Lots of detail.

Go ahead and ride it already. There should be rules about posting virgin bicycles.

Masi-chain tensioner-SRAM parts—ACE hardware store? WTF? Nice ride, weird find and I don’t understand the tensioner part. Aren’t those track ends? Bag is all right if you ride it more.

BTW I like the bike, not so much the bag… kind of detracts & I love the fangs…
