I dig this. It’s very fierce looking.

Yeah? Its my favorite color combo. I actually preferred less white, but oh well.

Looks great. How does it ride? I saw a bunch of these VISP framesets for sale on ebay and thought about getting one but could not find any info on it.
September 2nd, 2009 @5:16 pm
Yeah, I couldn’t find any info on it either, but now that I have it, I can definitely say, For what I paid ($123) I got one heck of a deal. First off, its Dead on stiff. Its also suprisingly smooth. Only things I have slight issues with is that the decals aren’t to great, and the welding is an alright job. But other than that, its an awesome bike. Not to heavy either!

lose the brakes lol, other than that nice build, looks good.
September 3rd, 2009 @5:25 pm
Haha true, but I’m a scared beast when it comes to no brakes.. maybe in three months. This is my first fixed gear. Thanks though!
September 4th, 2009 @6:09 pm
That’s one hot bike!
September 6th, 2009 @11:12 am
keep the brake.
September 6th, 2009 @12:45 pm
You think so? I plan on doing that. Too bad I just had a bike accident today, not on this bike though…went too fast and leaned to far around a corner, wheels slipped underneath me.
September 7th, 2009 @8:05 am
Wow! That thing is wicked looking. It has fangs.
T. K.
September 7th, 2009 @5:06 pm

September 7th, 2009 @6:53 pm
I would say at LEAST $20. Probably more.
September 8th, 2009 @7:02 pm
its always good to have a backup plan.
September 8th, 2009 @7:15 pm
What?!? at least 20? True True. Yeah, I’m so glad that brakes exist. Cause I’d be dead without em.

I don’t understand the fascination of riding without breaks. The whole point of riding without them on the track is because you’re surrounded by people on bikes doing around the same speed and there is no stopping so its a safety thing. When you’re using it to commute and you have cars, bikes and pedestrians around you and you’re having to stop and go all of the time it makes sense to have an extra way of slowing you down and stopping. There is NO POINT in commuting on the road without breaks other than fashion, and that’s a fashion that can get you killed. If people have any other reason for not wanting to use the breaks aside from fashion, why would they not just leave the breaks on and not use them?
Leave the breaks on.
Also, the bike looks pretty nice.

true words from a man that knows.

All u guys that complain about people that ride with no brakes are lame if ur a SMART rider on a fixed gear bike then u don’t need em plus it adds an excitment to ur ride, I agree that they could save ur life or it’s a good back up plan but really if u ride without em it’s ur choice and ur life I ride a motorcycle too I split lanes it’s dangerous but I know it and take the risk stop complaining about other peoples own decisions.
September 9th, 2009 @6:30 pm
True I think this decision is solely for the riders themselves, but its also nice to know that people care for one another’s safety. Such love!
September 9th, 2009 @7:14 pm
I totally agree that its the rider’s choice, but telling someone who has breaks on their bike to “loose their breaks” isn’t entirely responsible and it’s not that persons decision, it’s your suggestion.
Suggesting that someone take the break of their bike and saying that you’re a smart rider on a fixed gear is extremely contradictory. A smart rider, in addition to knowing what to look for in traffic, would know that even in the best situations there is always a chance of something unforeseen happening. Having an additional way of stopping yourself in a given situation is a SMART thing. If you want to have an ‘exciting’ ride without breaks and feel like increasing the likeliness of being hurt go for it, I hope natural selection doesn’t catch up to you, but don’t encourage other people to follow in your footsteps if they’re already protecting themselves.
September 10th, 2009 @7:05 am
Sure it is your choice, but you are not the only one on the road!
Well said CS.

hey redeye, so you like splitting lanes on your moto and know the risk? That’s all and fine, I could careless if you f-up and your head gets crushed under my tire, but who’s gonna pay to fix my car you a-hole? not to mention if you really eat $h!t and and you flying motorcycle kills someone else? I hope that when you die splitting lanes that you don’t take anyone else with you or cause any damage to anything other that your self or your moto. It’s not just you and your motocycle you risk, but the life of everyone around you and/or their property you selfish bastard.

Hi, I’ve just got one of these frames through and starting to build it up now. However it states it uses a 27.2 seatpost, but that seems a little loose on mine, and tightening the bolt as much as I can doesn’t hold it.
What size seatpost did you use? (if you could email me that would be sweet, ta)

luv it
