just a great classic, love the color match seat and wrap. My only add on would be a chrome fork but that’s only flash on my part.Even Gang Green is cool.enjoy

Why am I seeing so many bikes lately with the rear wheel just barely in the fork end?
May 4th, 2011 @2:43 pm
ng,
I am running a high gear and and double fixed hub (14t/18t). In order to have enough fork end to compensate for both cogs the chain has to be a certain length. In the pic I am running the 14t. The 18t fits more in the fork end due to its size.

then what you do is you make both your rings bigger while keeping the same ratio so to take up chain slack, or make you ratio harder or easyer by making either ring bigger,
i had to do this on my other bike as i was bottoming out my tensioners

or just run it like this. there’s plenty of room left before it falls out,why make it so complicated.

Thanks sloman. Arfer doesnt seem to be a fan of my bike. To each his own I suppose.

it just seemed to me that making both gears the same ratio defeats the purpose of ddifferent gears.one’s easy, one’s fast right?if you have the space to run them both safely ,do it.Bianchis rule.

I have this exact bike with the exact same set up. Only difference is I got the brooks honey toe straps instead of splurging on the copper saddle. Mad love

honestly im not a massive fan,but thats the way she goes. i may not be that into some peoples bikes but i try to offer them sound advice from my experiences (if most of the time in a rather blank way, sorry) iv always had double fixed hubs but i never bother using the other side for another gear, i pick one gear and mash it! i run 47×19=68 gear inch, its my do everything gear

just seems silly to run two of the same ratio. have one do all and one Superman gear for good days and feel good legs.

change the saddle and the handle bar tape please it looks ugly

^I agree. It doesn’t match at all. That said, it’s the best thing about this. Apart from the wheels this puts me to sleep faster than Andy Griffith. Silver or black wheels, black tape/straps and a bitchin black saddle – Concor? Kashimax Aero? It needs attitude.

I disagree. The saddle and tape are nice, now if you could get them to match. Try wipping the bars down with some oil or treatment and wipe it off like you would with the saddle. That should take care of the color difference. I’m not a fan of the white rims (not on any bike usually). Otherwise nice build.
